Birth & Beyond Post Image (1).png
We invite you to attend our latest workshop, Birth + Beyond: Nurturing Your Nervous System from Pregnancy Through Birth!

CREATING A BALANCED & REGULATED NERVOUS SYSTEM TO AVOID PRENATAL STRESS

HORMONAL CHANGES

Prenatal stress activates the body's stress response, releasing stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. While these hormones are essential for short-term stress responses, chronic exposure can be harmful.

IMMUNE SYSTEM IMPACT

Prolonged stress can affect the immune system, potentially increasing the risk of infections or other health issues for the expectant mother.

NEUROLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT FOR BABY

Your developing baby is sensitive to the hormonal changes associated with maternal stress. Prenatal stress may influence the development of the infant brain and nervous system.

Congrats Mom,

After caring for pregnant moms and new moms for many years, there's one thing we know for sure... there is no one perfect pregnancy and delivery that fits everyone. In fact, planning for the perfect pregnancy and delivery means planning for the imperfect moments and the bumps in the road!

We also know that many moms-to-be (and dads) don't realize how MANY CHOICES you have when it comes to your care, support and steps to achieving your perfect pregnancy (whatever that may be!).

This is exactly why we’re excited for you to join us to learn HOW to design your perfect pregnancy and delivery AND what to do if things don't go quite as planned.

We will treat you to dinner, mocktails and connection with like-minded families and providers.

After you've filled your cup, We’ll dive in to show you options for your pregnancy that you may not have ever discovered!

You do NOT have to struggle through...

• Uncomfortable Digestion
• Swelling
• Overwhelming Fatigue
• Low Back/Pelvic Pain
• Lack of Sleep

Of course, if you have personal questions about your pregnancy (sleep, mood, pain, birth plans, etc...) the Compassion Team will be ready to HELP YOU! We can't wait to raise our mocktail glass with you and celebrate your growing family!!!

See You Soon,
Dr. David & The Compassion Team

OUR AMAZING COMPASSION MOMS!

Meet Lauren

Lauren came to us with discomfort, trouble sleeping and low energy. She had also experienced very difficult and long labors with her previous pregnancies, the shortest being15 hours. This time around, Baby Jovie came in just 4 hours with no interventions! Mom shared that Jovie is even doing better than her previous kiddos in the newborn phase who struggled with reflux and colic. Mom is recovering well, and says she has felt more like herself quicker this pregnancy!

Meet Maddie

Madison was entering into her 2nd trimester when she started to feel achy, experience sciatica pain & have trouble sleeping. She knew something must be missing from her prenatal care, that's when she came to Compassion. Madison Insight's Scans revealed her system was stuck in fight or flight which led to exhaustion and stress on her and baby. After about a month under care she noticed that every time she left an adjustment she felt significantly better: less tightness, less pain, more space for baby. She says she's able to process through stress more easily, and is less exhausted!

Meet Katie

Katie came to us at 12 weeks pregnant, navigating early pregnancy challenges like fatigue, sleep issues, digestive struggles, and nausea. After seeing her first set of nervous system scans, she started to understand why she was struggling and had a clear path forward. A couple of months into care, Katie's digestion started to improve, her energy returned, and she was sleeping better! At 35 weeks, Katie said she was going into birth feeling confident, comfortable, and more emotionally ready for the natural birth she desired!
